1. Agreement to these terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Mezzy (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use Mezzy. You may not use the Service if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.
3. Your account
Provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly tell us if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless prohibited by law. You may not sell, transfer, or impersonate another person through an account.
4. Community conduct
Mezzy is designed for respectful conversation and creative expression. You may not use the Service to:
- Harass, threaten, exploit, stalk, or discriminate against others.
- Post illegal, sexually exploitative, violent, hateful, deceptive, or privacy-invasive content.
- Share another person’s private information or intimate content without permission.
- Spam, manipulate engagement, distribute malware, scrape the Service, or bypass security controls.
- Infringe intellectual-property or other rights.
- Encourage self-harm, dangerous conduct, or illegal activity.
Use reporting and blocking tools when appropriate. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of content you create. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload or share it.
To operate the Service, you grant Mezzy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify for technical formatting, distribute, display, perform, and make your content available through the Service. This license is limited to operating, improving, promoting, and protecting the Service, and ends when your content is deleted except where copies remain for legitimate backup, safety, legal, or evidentiary purposes.
Voice rooms and live interactions may be heard or captured by other participants. Do not share information you do not want others to know or retain.
6. Moderation and enforcement
We may review, limit, remove, or preserve content, and may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts when we reasonably believe it is necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, or maintain the Service. Automated systems and human review may both be used. Enforcement decisions may be appealed through the Contact page where available.
7. Coins, virtual gifts, and purchases
Coins and virtual gifts are digital items licensed for use only within the Service. They have no cash value, are not legal tender, and may not be sold, transferred, or exchanged outside features expressly provided by Mezzy. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google and are also subject to the applicable app store’s terms. Except where required by law or app-store rules, purchases are final and non-refundable. We may correct balances affected by error, fraud, chargeback, or misuse.
8. Mezzy property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content supplied by Mezzy, is owned by Mezzy or its licensors and protected by law. These Terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service; they do not transfer ownership.
9. Ending use of the Service
You may stop using Mezzy at any time and may request account deletion through the available in-app method or our Contact page. We may suspend or end access for violations, safety risks, legal requirements, prolonged inactivity, or discontinuation of the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
10. Disclaimers and responsibility
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, that user content is accurate, or that every harmful interaction can be prevented. You are responsible for your interactions with other users and should use appropriate caution online and offline.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Mezzy is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Service.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will post the revised terms, update the effective date, and provide additional notice where required. Continued use after the revised terms take effect means you accept them.
